Laser vein removal
Overview
Varicose vein treatment depends on the severity of the problem. At early
stages non-surgical methods should be applied to relieve the symptoms and/or
appearance.
What veins can be treated by a laser?
“Spider” and varicose veins, telangiectasias and veins affected by venous
insufficiency can be effectively treated with the help of laser. The laser is
a safe and effective way of treatment that works selectively on blood vessels
without affecting the surrounding tissue.
How does laser work?
At RomiTal we use Photoderm® treatment system for non-invasive elimination of
“spider” veins and other vascular lesions on face, legs and other parts of the
body. Light impulse passes through the skin, selectively heats the vessel and
coagulates it. The vein breaks up and disappears. With Photoderm® advanced
features the procedure is virtually painless and causes only minimal
discomfort.
About the procedure
The procedure lasts for 20-30 minutes. 3-4 sessions may be required for
complete removal of vessels. Slight reddening may appear after the procedure
that completely disappears after several hours. Staying in the sun is not
recommended for two weeks before the procedure and two weeks after it.
Note! On early stages dilated vessels can be removed by non-surgical methods
(laser impulse or injection of special solutions) but on later stages surgical
intervention is necessary.
